I have been an avid reader since I first learned how,the writing came much later,in my late forties to be exact.I soon found It wasn't as easy as I thought and my first attempts were pathetic to say the least.Although I have improved over several years,i am still far from expert.But I enjoy it and other people find some of my stuff amusing,so I keep on trying.Living,as I do in a small village in the pennines,on the boarder between Yorkshire and lancashire,I find a lot of my ides in local commmunity.It is strange how much goes on in a small place like this,I was amazed when we first moved in,It was much more exciting than the large town where we had lived previously.
"Like sodom and Gomorrah this village." I was told by one of the elder residents.I laughed at the time,but a few years on I see that she was right,a writer s heaven.So have a look at what my stories have to offer and tell me what you think.
